INSTALLATION MANAGER (VARIOUS LOCATIONS)- Ј30000 TO Ј35000 BASIC + BONUS + CAR * ALLOWANCE + HEALTH + PENSION + 25 DAYS HOLIDAY.
With over 40,000 worldwide employees this Multi million global manufacturer of Elevator systems Are now looking to expand their specialist team in the North of England.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Installation Manager is responsible for the Installation of all New Lift Equipment under their control, provides leadership and direction of all efforts, associated with design, development and implementation of new and improved field methods in accordance with the Business Unit Strategic and Profit Plan.
To deliver the completed product to the customer within the parameters set, ensuring Costs and Quality are not compromised in doing so.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer a sound Business Plan designed to meet Region profit margin objectives within the scope of the Company strategic plan.
Ensure Labour Planning is accurate for year ahead plan.
Direct, Coach and co-ordinate the flow of information between Area Operations, Company staff, support groups and area personnel.
Formulate a training and development plan for direct personnel which assures individual objective setting and formal appraisal of employees.
Attend the Region contracts review programme and execute documents within established limits of authority.
Initiator of change
Have an understanding and commercial awareness of market conditions and NI Business Unit strategies.
Previous experience with the supervision of skilled site engineers.
Have the creative ability, energy and drive to develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed financial and non-financial objectives.
Successful track record of achievement and delivery.
Identify specialised education and*or experience requirements.
Having a sound knowledge of the N.I. Business within the Lift Industry is desirable.
5 years experience in business or similar role.
A good commercial awareness, being able to mitigate problems arising.
Describe any licences and*or certificates required.Full valid driving licence.
Installation Managers must be able to interpret complex Installation & Commercial concerns and identify and mobilise appropriate resource in resolution of same, with minimum negative impact.
Installation operations experience problems in scheduling, cost control, agreement on requirements, changing market environment and personnel needs and performance. Installation Managers must have the skills to fully understand the problems, assess responsibility, explore alternatives, develop creative solutions and negotiate settlements, using sound methodology.
Plan and administer personnel selection, development of people and promotability potential.
